JOHN JOHNSON

John L. Johnson serves as a National Auctioneer for Sperry Van Ness/Interstate Auction Company in Atlanta Georgia . He has managed real estate auctions over most of the Unites States.
He has sold almost all types of real estate, from shopping centers, office buildings, industrial properties, apartments, luxury homes, condominiums, estates, hospitality properties, land, and a variety of other commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Johnson served as president of Interstate Auction Company. Interstate Auction Company was founded in 1990, with key associates of three national auction companies. Clients included developers, financial institutions, Federal governmental agencies, institutional sellers, bankruptcy courts, businesses, and private individuals.

Previously, Johnson organized and managed Prudential Georgia Realty's commercial brokerage division for almost five years. He also served as president of Cochran Properties, Inc., a multi-divisional real estate firm in Atlanta , where he also founded an auction group.

Johnson is active with the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the National Association of Auctioneers and the Georgia Auctioneers Association. He has been a frequent instructor at the Georgia Institute of Real Estate, specializing in Accelerated Marketing.

Johnson holds two masters degrees in business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Johnson is a licensed broker and auctioneer in several states.
